Hmmm.. this was taken directly off your website. I don't believe you understand the entire copyright law, though. Did you know, you're not allowed to trace someone's picture and change the colors around, and then claim it's yours? That's still infringing on the copyright law because the original idea was still someone else's.
I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Shayde has asked very nicely for you to take her picture off your website and stop claiming that you came up with it. Because of the copyright law, you do realise she can press charges against you if you don't.
I think the best idea here is to just remove the picture from your website, and then apologize. Shayde's a very easy person to get along with. Everything will be better if you do that.

The hypocrisy.
Why can't you just make your life one hell of a lot easier, take down the image, and start to make your own art? You seem to know the law regarding copyright, why don't you use a little bit of common sense and gain yourself a bit more credibility and respect in the process? And no, I would NOT be surprised if Shayde did take legal action on you.
You're not fooling anyone. Quit while you're ahead, and take the image down.
